Draft → Gate → Sign is a human-in-the-loop governance pattern in which an AI agent produces a draft, an automated deny-by-default test gate must pass, and a named human signs any irreversible act, so automation stops exactly where a person is accountable.

Problem
Left unchecked, an agent that can act is an agent that can ship a mistake, or something irreversible, before a person sees it.
Solution
Split every action into three steps: the agent drafts, an automated deny-by-default gate must pass, and a named human signs anything irreversible. Nothing crosses a step until the one before it clears.
Outcome
